Dear Tsinghua Alumni<\/p>\n

Let’s get together and enjoy Boston’s beautiful summer again!<\/p>\n

Tsinghua Alumni Association in Boston will hold a summer picnic event in the Auburndale Park (The Cove) on 08\/02\/2008. You, your family and friends are most welcome to join us! There will be lots of fun! It is also a great opportunity to meet old friends and new friends.<\/p>\n

Here is the event detail:<\/p>\n

When: 12:00PM- 4:00PM, Saturday, 08\/02\/2008 <\/strong><\/p>\n

(Note: If it is rainy, the event will be postponed to 08\/03\/2008. Please pay attention to the notice from our webpage http:\/\/www.tsinghua-boston.org\/<\/a> )<\/p>\n

Where: Auburndale Park (The Cove) 110 West Pine St., Auburndale, MA, 02466<\/strong>
\n\t(see detailed direction below)<\/p>\n

Activities:<\/strong>
\n\tPotluck-style picnic (we will provide beverage, snacks, forks, towel and paper plates), playing volleyball and tennis, boating at Charles River (boating fee is about $15\/person), chatting with old friends and new friends, and watching our lovely kids playing in the playground of the park.<\/p>\n

What to bring: <\/strong>favorite dishes, dessert and water; sun-block, gears for volleyball, tennis racquets & balls, frisbee and etc. You can also bring tablecloth if you prefer.<\/p>\n

We will arrange ride (pick up service) from Riverside Station of D Line (1.5 miles away from Auburndale Park) between 11:30am-12:00pm on August 02. For those who need a ride (could be from other campus locations) and those who can give a ride, please send email to Chen, Di (di_chen_umich@hotmail.com<\/a>) before July 28.<\/p>\n

1. Head south on Congress St toward Quaker Ln 0.3 mi<\/p>\n

2. Turn right onto the ramp to I-93 S\/Quincy\/I-90 W\/Worcester 0.5 mi<\/p>\n

3. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for I-90 W and merge onto I-90 W\/Massachusetts Turnpike\/Mass Pike Partial toll road 9.3 mi<\/p>\n

4. Take exit 16 to merge onto RT-16 W toward Wellesley 0.4 mi<\/p>\n

5. Turn right at RT-16\/Washington St (signs for I-95\/RT-16 W\/RT-128\/RT-30\/Mass. Pike\/Wellesley) 0.5 mi<\/p>\n

6. Turn right at Commonwealth Ave\/RT-30 W 0.8 mi<\/p>\n
