Dear Tsinghua Alumni,<\/p>\n

Let's get together and enjoy Boston's beautiful summer again!<\/p>\n

Tsinghua Alumni Association in Boston will hold a summer picnic event in the Auburndale Park (The Cove) on July 18th, 2009. Besides many Tsinghua alumni from great Boston area, a delegate of top Tsinghua freshmen will join us. You, your family and friends are most welcome! There will be lots of fun! It is also a great opportunity to meet old and new friends.<\/p>\n

Here is the event detail:
\n\tWhen: 12:00PM-5:00PM, Saturday, 07\/18\/2009
\n\t(Note: If it is rainy, the event will be postponed to Sunday, 07\/19\/2009. Please pay attention to the notice from our webpage http:\/\/www.tsinghua-boston.org\/<\/a> )<\/p>\n

Where: Auburndale Park (The Cove) 110 West Pine St., Auburndale, MA, 02466 (see detailed direction below)<\/p>\n

Activities:
\n\t1. Potluck-style picnic: Please bring enough food for yourself and extra for sharing. We will provide ice-cream, watermelon, beverage, forks, towel, cups, and table cover.
\n\t2. Volleyball tournament. Teams need to be registered before hand by sending email to volleyball@tsinghua-boston.org<\/a>. If you want to play but do not have a team yet, please let us know. We will try to find a team for you.
\n\t3. Frisbee game. Teams can be formed on site.
\n\t4. Kayak at Charles River ($2\/kid) and Soccer for Boys and Girls. Both are kids’ activities, if you want to be an adult volunteer helping to organize the activity for kids, please send email to presidents@tsinghua-boston.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n

If you need a pickup or can offer carpool, please indicate when registration. If you take the D line, we will arrange pick up service from Riverside Station of D Line (1.5 miles away from Auburndale Park) between 11:30am-12:00pm.<\/p>\n
