About the Speaker:
Our presenters, Richard Kimball and Ralph Loren are partners at the international law firm Edwards Wildman Palmer LLP. Collectively, they have over 50 years of experience advising founders, investors and officers in technology and life science companies. The presentation will be on a number of key topics that you will need to be aware of if you are thinking about starting a technology based company, including how to structure arrangements amongst co-founders, choosing the proper form of entity for your business, raising capital from friends and family, angel investors, and venture capital investors, providing equity and other incentives for your team, licensing technology from institutions and other companies, and protecting your intellectual property. There will be a period for questions as well.
