12/4/2008,Exploring the US-China Technology Services Market
|Dear Tsinghua alumni,
China is rapidly developing its technology services industry. The Chinese government estimates that $2-3B was outsourced to Chinese delivery centers in 2007. Current growth estimates for the industry conservatively range from 30-40% per year through the next 2-3 years, resulting in an overall China outsourcing market of $7B by 2010.
We are pleased to announce that we are organizing a joint dinner event with Dextrys, one of the industry leaders in the China IT outsourcing industry. Please join Brian Keane, CEO of Dextrys, for a brief presentation followed by dinner discussion on this significant and emerging opportunity for Chinese technology professionals and entrepreneurs in US and China.
Topics of discussion will include :
- What unique opportunities does this challenging economy situation present to us?
- How will China compete with India for technology US outsourcing spend?
- What types of US and China based talent are required to fuel the industry’s rapid growth?
- How can we network and collaborate to foster US-China IT outsourcing growth?
- How can we help American companies sell more software and technology to China?
We believe the collaboration between Dextrys and Tsinghua Alumni Association will positively impact the growth of the overall industry and job opportunities both in US and in China.
Please join us for a relaxed and intellectually stimulating evening.
