Board of Directors Announcement
Aug 31, 2021, Greater Boston — THAA Boston Board of Directors met online via Zoom, on Aug 22, 2021. Of the seven board directors, five attended the Zoom meeting: Fei Deng, Wei Lin, Yan Rong, Yangxiaolu Cao, Yang Song. Li-Chia Ou, Ji Zhao, Xiaoying Cai, Ping Gao, Tingting Su participated without voting rights. The meeting was hosted by Fei Deng, the chairman of Board of Directors.
The Board heard 2020-2021 executive team report by President Yangxiaolu Cao and financial report by CFO Li-Chia Ou at the meeting.
The Board re-elected 曹杨晓璐 Yangxiaolu Cao as President, and elected 高苹 Ping Gao as President-Elect, for the 2021-2022 fiscal year.
Yangxiaolu Cao graduated from Class of 2008-2012, Mechanical Engineering, Tsinghua University, Beijing. Yangxiaolu has been serving in THAA-Boston since 2018, and was Presidentelect in 2019-2020. She was President in 2020-2021, and will continue to serve as President 2021-2022.
Ping Gao graduated from Class of 2009-2013, Physics, Tsinghua University, Beijing. Ping has been serving in THAA-Boston since 2013. Ping Gao was also the captain of Tsinghua Dragon Boat Team for both 2018 and 2019.
The Board re-elected 欧力嘉 Lichia Ou as CFO.
Li-Chia Ou graduated from Class of 2009-2011, MBA, Tsinghua University, Beijing, and has been serving as Finance Manager at THAA since 2018-2019, CFO since 2019.
The Board also passed board member updates: Ping Gao as new board member. We thank all the board members for their contribution to the organization over the years.
